From the article:

“The problem with Pakistan is that everyone believes he is in charge of other people lives and can best decide about the morals of others but that’s not the right approach and we are in this state because of our clergy, who have hijacked our society which was once a tolerant society and respected individuals freedoms.”

Now let’s do a small edit:

“The problem with Pakistan America is that everyone believes he is in charge of other people lives and can best decide about the morals of others but that’s not the right approach and we are in this state because of our clergy, who have hijacked our society which was once a tolerant society and respected individuals freedoms.”

Scary comparison isn’t it?

Being a lesbian, gay or transsexual person is a considered a taboo vice in parts of society of Pakistan and gay rights are close to non-existent.

we are still fighting for basic women’s rights in Pakistan, lbgtq rights will take longer. it is not fair nor right, but it is the reality.

thank you for posting this article fem.

And Muslims complain about Islamophobia but don’t bother to condemn homophobia. Anyone willing to bet these same losers who send them death threats in the UK also cry about being victims of hostility by the EDL wankers as well?
